I love browsing the drugstore beauty aisles, anyone else? Besides the fact that I love to try on new makeup, drugstores are actually pretty affordable when it comes to their beauty section — and who doesn’t LOVE a good deal? It’s a double win in my book!
So I thought I should share with you guys my favorite drugstore finds. That way the next time you stroll down those aisles, you can pull this up and know what’s worth trying!
Maybelline Fit Me Loose Setting Powder
LOVE IT! The powder is great to set under your eyes or a full face of makeup. It doesn’t leave you with that cakey feeling. The best part is that it doesn’t leave your skin feeling like it’s suffocating underneath. This powder is a breath of fresh air. Oh, and did I mention — this product is UNDER $10! It truly is one of the best loose powders I’ve tried so let me know if you try this for yourself and what you think.
Maybelline Lip Liner in Totally Toffee
Let’s be real, I don’t always use lip liner but when I do, you know it’s good! . Unless you are spending a lot of money on your lip liner it’s hard to find a vibrant lip liner that will stay all day. In comes Maybelline! This lip liner is soft, creamy, and helps your lipstick color last a lot longer. The pigment is gorgeous in Totally Toffee but if that isn’t your shade then there are plenty of others to choose from.
Carols Daughter Wash Day Delight Shampoo & Conditioner
This shampoo/conditioner duo is SO different but so good! The smell is amazing and refreshing. That alone is a win for me because no one wants weird-smelling hair products. But not only does it smell great, it’s just a great product all around! It leaves my hair so clean, and soft, and the shine I get from this product is wonderful! I love the nozzle that comes on the shampoo because it makes it so easy to apply shampoo. It comes out like water but lathers SO well. Definitely a must try, especially for curly hair gals!
NYX Can’t Stop Won’t Stop Mattifying Powder
This mattifying powder is ridiculously amazing. It’s so smooth and gives you a poreless finish. While it is a powder the formula doesn’t leave your face cakey and isn’t really noticeable when you have it on. Which is exactly what it’s supposed to do so it definitely does its job! This powder has the perfect matte finish and not drying at all! If this hasn’t convinced you yet — I wore this in humid Texas heat and not only was it breathable but this powder didn’t even budge. If it can survive Texas heat then you know it’s good.
